The history of the Family Boursot in Chambolle-Musigny, dates back at least to 1550 with Guillaume BOURSOT already winemaker. He will generate a lineage in Chambolle that my children are the fourteenth generation, all winemakers from father to son. (Genealogy of the Boursot Family).

My grandfather, Ernest Boursot, born in 1896, and his brother, André Boursot, both had a vineyard transmitted by their ancestors. At their death, my father, Jean Francois Boursot, born 1922, inherited a part of the vineyard from his father and uncle.

He then sold at the time, all production to wine merchants in the region. In 1974, assisted by his wife Charlotte, he decided to make bottle and opens the first tasting room in Chambolle-Musigny.

Me, Remy Boursot, born February 8, 1958, I am the 13th generation of winemakers and in 1984 I took over operations at the domain.

I got married in 1979 with Annick.

In 1993 we created the Maison Boursot Père et Fils which enabled us to expand our range of appellations by purchases of grapes or wine. Our appellations are picked, elevated and bottled by us.

Our two sons, Romaric et Romuald

Romaric, born March 24, 1988, after completing studies in entrepreneurship and international trade, joined the company Boursot Père & Fils as co-manager in October 2011. He is responsible for the commercial and corporate marketing.

Romuald, born July 5, 1991, after obtaining a degree in enology and viticulture, joined the winery as vineyard manager and winemaker in July 2012.
